The course

Personal to your child, not a fixed programme

The course begins by securing key skills, over four to six months, before moving on to exam-specific content and techniques. Teaching is flexible, tailored and responsive: your child's teacher adapts every session to what your child actually needs.

There are no formal assessments gating entry. Groups stay small, between four and six children, so every child is seen.

Secure the foundations

Core literacy, numeracy and reasoning skills, built over 4–6 months.

Master the exam

Trafford Consortium formats, timing and technique, introduced when skills are ready.

Finish strong

Summer School in the Year 5 holidays, right before the September exams.

Questions parents ask us

When should my child start?
The course runs throughout Years 4 and 5. Starting earlier gives more time to build skills calmly, without pressure.
How big are the groups?
Between 4 and 6 children. Small enough for personal attention, big enough for children to make friends and enjoy coming.
What does it cost?
Group tuition is £22 per session, payable half-termly in advance (as of September 2024). See pricing for details, and note that childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare can save eligible families 20%+.
Does my child need to pass an assessment to join?
No. Formal assessments do not gate access. We start with a free assessment simply to understand your child and plan their lessons.
Is there support over the summer before the exam?
Yes. Our 11+ Summer School runs during the Year 5 summer holidays, in the final stretch before the September exams.
